I haven’t watched the video of George Floyd’s murder. I probably won’t. Honestly, I don't need to watch it to understand that his life was worth more. And so is his death. Once I saw the picture of a police officer on his neck, I skipped ahead to read the caption. I am still engaged. I am as fired up as ever to be knowledgeable, and informed, but I also need to protect my mental and emotional health. The still imagery is enough for me.
